This is one of the first photo's l took using a Halina camera in 1984 , it shows 2 'Nord' Line ships discharging paper at the North Quay and the other loading woodchippings at the South Quay . the silo's were used to import cement.

The Spanish ALTEA sails from Wicklow in early 1985

The German PARNASS is seen at the Packet pier ready to load a deck cargo of Round timber , visible in the background is Neil Watson's boat yard now long gone ,this was one of the first photographs l took using a new Yashica FX-3 SLR camera.
